  • Early bird registration this year is $225 per boat.

  • After April 15th, the cost will go up $25 per boat and the first timer discount will end. Register early!

Roche Harbor gives us a free night Wednesday for those staying to Sunday. Don’t miss out on your free night – join us on Wednesday.

We have some great 25th anniversary swag this year. We have his and hers anniversary fleece jackets for each boat. You will be asked for sizes when registering. Handy links to men’s and women’s sizing are included on the registration form.

And here are a few more highlights this year …

  • Brian Smith from American Diesel will join us to answer any and all questions you may have about our engines.
  • NW Exploration’s very popular Women on the Water events are back again. Book early as these fill up fast. Your $20 donation goes to the Orca Network this year.
  • Courtesy vessel safety inspections and fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Roche Harbor doughnuts each morning, Yum!
  • Mark Bunzell from the Waggoner Guide will be with us Thursday.
  • Lots of great seminars are scheduled.
  • The dinner Thursday night will be better than last year. We promise. 🤞🏻
  • The Friday BBQ lunch was well received last year so we are bringing it back again.
  • Beer and cider tasting, and sponsor fair Friday afternoon.
  • The Recreational Boating Association of Washington (RBAW) will talk Saturday about their legislative efforts on our behalf.
  • The Dangerfields will provide our Saturday evening entertainment with a mix of blues, rock and funk, original tunes and classic covers.
  • And much more …

As always, a big, big thank you to our sponsors. We could not put on this event without their generosity and support! Please think of them first when you need help with your boat.

And a special thank you to this year’s Rendezvous Committee, Carol Harriman, Janice McLaughlin, Byron and Sue Richards, JJ and Kathy Jones, Brad Larson, Ross Tennant, Mary Ann Savinsky, Koelle Leenstra, Gary Law, and Ken Bowles!

As always, email us rendezvous@psgbowners.org with all of your questions, comments, suggestions, and so on.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the 25th Rendezvous at Roche Harbor! You won’t want to miss it. 😉

It is Time! Registration Opens Tuesday

Happy Saturday! It’s Rusty again. Registration for the 2025 Grand Banks Rendezvous opens Tuesday the 18th. It is going to be a great Rendezvous. See the registration form on Tuesday for complete details.

The Rendezvous is May 7-11 at the beautiful Roche Harbor Resort. Activities begin Thursday morning.

The generosity and support from our sponsors has allowed us to LOWER the cost of this year’s event. The cost per boat is $200 — $55 less than last year.

Roche Harbor is providing free moorage Wednesday night for folks who would like to arrive early and stay through Saturday night. Registration fees do not include moorage costs. Those will be payable directly to Roche Harbor upon arrival. We will make the moorage reservations for all Rendezvous attendee’s again this year. You do NOT need to call Roche and make a moorage reservation.

Our dinner will be Thursday evening. This worked well last year and helps to reduce the overall event cost.

The Chef Shaw cooking event will not take place this year. Unfortunately, Chef Shaw will be out of town while we are there. We are replacing it with a burger/brat BBQ event provided by the association at no additional cost for attendees. Thank you again to our sponsors!

Northwest Explorations is graciously providing training captains and a boat for the very popular two hour Women on the Water boat handling courses. This is a hands on course. The trainings fill quickly so register early to reserve your spot.

Join us for a great weekend of seminars, stories, food, fun, friends, and more. We have requested beautiful weather and another spectacular Northern Lights display just like last year. We hope to see all of you at the 2025 Rendezvous at Roche!

You will receive an e-mail Tuesday morning with the link to register.

(sorry, we can’t publish the link until we have the form complete and tested. That’s just the way the software works. You get what you pay for.)

Thank you again to our sponsors – We couldn’t do this without their generous support.

Happy Boating this Memorial Day weekend

We hope everyone is having a fantastic Memorial Day weekend on their boats. Summer has officially begun.

Happy Memorial Day weekend

Please take a moment to look at that flag we all fly so proudly on our boats and remember that far too many have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect that flag, our country, our freedom, and our way of life.

For those of you who served our country, we thank you for your service. Enjoy your weekend!

PassageMaker Magazine Article

Check out the great article on page 84 in the April issue of PassageMaker Magazine, entitled “Chanteyman-Grand Banks’ Salty Cousin”.  It is written by our own PSGBOA member, Bob Lane. The picture of the 3 Chanteyman Trawler Yachts is from the PSGBOA 2009 Rendezvous in Roche Harbor, taken by PSGBOA member Lin Hines!

Also, if you haven’t already tried it, the Digital Version of the PassageMaker Magazine is excellent. You can find out more about that at http://www.passagemaker.com

Safe Boating to all, see you in May!
